Twin sisters in opera stage

When kun opera star Yang talk about the origins of her name, it is just like telling stories. She has a twin sister named Yang Jieyi. Her origin name was Yang Meiyi, but because her sister changed name to Yang Meiyi, so she changed her name to Yang Fengyi. The twins studied opera together, and went to China Opera Institute. When they graduated in 1982, one was assigned to the Beijing Opera Troupe, and the other was assigned to the North Kun Theater.
