THE Wiggles will visit separated twins Trishna and Krishna next week as they recover in hospital.

Doctors have revealed that Krishna, the weaker of the two, has been watching Wiggles DVDs in a good sign that she is getting over last week's marathon surgery.

Blue Wiggle Anthony Field said the world famous children's entertainers prayed for the girls to survive the operation so they could start their new lives, the Herald Sun reports.

"We're pleased that our music and our friend Dorothy the Dinosaur have been a source of comfort to Krishna and Trishna," he said.

Field said he was sure the girls would continue to make a remarkable recovery.

"We will be in Melbourne performing soon and promise to come and visit with Dorothy the Dinosaur. Our thoughts and prayers are with Krishna and Trishna."

Children's First Foundation chief Margaret Smith said the twins were avid Wiggles fans.

Because Trishna and Krishna can't walk, the DVDs had given them great joy.

"They've spent months and months and months watching The Wiggles, and singing along," Ms Smith said.

The Bangledeshi twins, who were joined at the head, were separated in a 32-hour operation at the Royal Children's Hospital last week.
