Sarah Jessica Parker "didn't want" to have twins. The 44-year-old 'Sex and the City' actress and her husband Matthew Broderick - who also have a seven-year-old son James Wilkie - admit that looking after daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, six months, is proving more difficult than they expected and they find leaving their house turns into a "military operation" because it requires so much organization. Sarah - who had the twins through a surrogate mother - told website Popeater: "We didn't want twins but we wanted a bigger family and this is what we got. "It's a blessing, it's a thrill, it's a privilege but it couldn't be more different." Discussing heading out with the children, she added: "It's shocking. The diapers, the ointment, the bottle, the pacifier, the baby blanket, plastic bags so you're not leaving a dirty diaper at someone's house or a restaurant, God forbid, wipes, baby Tylenol. "The list goes on and you need it all, it's not a joke. Times two." Despite the stress being a mother of twins has brought her, the 'Did You Hear About the Morgans?' actress is managing to laugh through her difficulties. She added: "Honestly it's funny. It's comedic. There is so much organization and advance planning that happens." Recently Sarah claimed to fear being a failure as a mother. She said: "We choose to be mothers, it's complicated. It's a balancing act and I'm sure I'm failing miserably." (Edit:Ruby) |
