Caroline Anne Maria and James William Chase were born at 8 a.m. on Jan. 4 at Stratford General Hospital. Luckily, any snowy weather held off that morning and Angel safely arrived at the hospital two hours before the delivery. "I was afraid they were both going to be girls or both boys and I'd have to paint their toenails to tell them apart," says Angel. "And if they were both boys, it might've been a little weird to paint one of their toenails," she joked. For Chase, who grew up in Mitchell, twins run in the family. He has a twin sister, Char. After Angel's second month of pregnancy, the parents found out they'd be having twins. According to a National Vital Statistics Report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the odds of having twins in North America are about three per cent. "She's very easy going and he's fussier," she says. (Edit:Ruby) |
