Oswego, NY -- The town of Oswego parents charged by the sheriff's department with starving their toddler twins have been indicted by an Oswego County grand jury. Katherine and Richard Graham have been indicted on two felony counts each of first-degree assault, two felony counts each of first-degree reckless endangerment, two misdemeanor counts each of third-degree assault and two misdemeanor counts each of endangering the welfare of a child. Katherine, 26, and Richard, 28, of 208 Furniss Station Road, are charged with not providing proper care to their then 14-month-old twins. The improper care had to do with not feeding them enough. Joseph and Cindy Todaro, of Oswego, the stepfather and mother of Richard Graham, said during an earlier court appearance that Richard and Katherine have done nothing to cause their children to be underweight. They also said they sought medical treatment for the twins when they noticed the todders were losing weight. The Grahams are out on bail. They will be arraigned in Oswego County Court Thursday. The couple still have custody of four of their children while the twins are in foster care. (Edit:Ruby) |
