Airline turns away mother with twins

A young mother is waiting for a refund from Jetstar after being dumped from a flight for trying to fly with her young twins.

Aimee Moutray was refused entry to a flight to Australia for a wedding on Monday, as she tried to board with her 18-month-old toddlers. It contravened rules demanding one baby per adult.

She says she tried to book online, but heeded the message telling her to contact Jetstar if she wanted to travel alone with the twins. Ms Moutray says the airline helped her book online for one adult and an infant, plus an extra child seat.

But at the airport, the furious mum was told there was no way she could board.

Jetstar says a refund is on the way.
