A pair of lovely twin sisters experienced significant changes in life one after another at the age of nine: never to see the colorful world. There is always darkness before dawn. When Dai Ling and Dai Li graduated from the blind school in 1998, life cruelty fell upon the family again: Li Jiuping was diagnosed as terminal lymphoma cancer.

Mother had been the pillar of the two wretched children, and they must save her! Besides doing the temporary job with a monthly pay of 400 Yuan, Dai Ling and Dai Li did other jobs too. They bought medicine of 2000 Yuan for their mother without tell her the price. They also massage for her after her unbearable painful surgery... Finally, Li Jiuping conquered cancer the devil, and awarded as one of the 100 national anti-cancer warriors in 2000.

In 2001, Dai Ling and Dai LI's story moved officials from the civil administration bureau in Wuhan, and they got invited to work in Wuhan massage hospital. The modest sisters get popular with the colleagues here. The leaders and experts teach them patiently too. Gradually, they even make regular friends with some patients. Getting distributed to work in the hospital branch institute, Dai Li needs to transfer bus for three times to get home every day, and there are zeal colleagues send her to the bus stops every day.
