18-year-old Twin Sisters Realizing the Dream to be Flight Attendants

Recently, 28 graduates from Harbin Aviation Vocational School have passed the selection interview of Sichuan Airline and will attend the pre-job training. There’s a pair of twin sisters with 1.72-meter hight, 52-kg weight, and perfect gestures extremely conspicuous among these excellent graduates. They are 18-year-old twin sisters Xing Lijia and Xing Liyan, born in Longjiang County, Qiqihar City.

Inseperable for 18 years

"In the past 18 years, we have been in good terms, and inseperable from primary school to senior school." Speaking of sister feelings, the older sister Xing Lijia became quite talkative, "We were deskmates and roommates in senior school. We both like chess, history books, and we are both good at dancing and folk musical instruments. We even have the same kind of dresses."

"What a beautiful similar pair!" Xing Lijia told reporters how happy they are each time they hear strangers flatter them.

Jokes of similarities

Because the sisters look so much alike, there life is full of jokes. Xing Lijia said that once they met with a friend of her younger sister when shopping, and the friend went to Xing Lijia, talking about the funny things she just saw. The twins didn’t interrupt until she finished the story. Know the truth, all three girls laughed.

At school, Xing Lijia was the commissary in charge of publicity and Xing Liyan in charge of general affairs, sports, and then organization. Once before making a blackboard newspaper, the headteacher saw Xing Liyan and guided her how to design the paper without any hesitation. "How come the blackboard newspaper designing needs me?" Xing Liyan got surprised and asked carefully, "Teacher, I am Liyan, and are you looking for my older sister?" The teacher finally realized that she made a mistake.

Telepathy in life

Many people say that twins often have telepathy. Xing Lijia told reporters that it happens to them in daily lives too.

One day, Xing Lijia and her younger sister met with a good friend, and they both waved at her coincidentally. Unexpectedly, they both sprained feet when they hurried to that friend. The friend was amused by their similar movements and facial expressions and laughed, "How interesting!"

Xing Liyan said that despite the similarities, she and her sister were not identical completely. Her sister had better methods in solving problems and better academic performance. However, Xing Lijia said, "I’m not as healthy as my younger sister. Neither more thoughtful. So she always takes care of me when I get sick. I appreciate that."
 
Dreams come true

"Did you happen to have the same major?" Xing Lijia laughed, "I think so. I remember we were both attracted by the work and lives of flight attendants when we saw a movie named Women’s Sky. In the fourth year of junior middle school, Harbin Aviation Vocational School came to our county for enrollment, and we both applied for the major of flight attendants."

Studying in school, Xing Lijia and Xing Liyan became "star sisters" with outstanding looks, and excellent study. They demonstrated talents in programs on TV, and worked for students’ winter games. Xing Liyan said, "These valuable practical experience became important reasons for being hired by Sichuan Airlines."

After being selected from the 300 candidates in the first round, the twins both went to Beijing for the second round of interview. They conquered the judges with professional expertise and talents.

Xing Lijia said that the moment they got the hiring news, they called their mother and said in unison, "Mom, we’re in!" More interestingly, the first time they went to Chengdu by plane, they said with telepathy, "Ah, how nice!"
