Taiwan Twin Majors Anecdotes Executive Criticized the Wrong Twin

Twin majors Chen Jingmei (left), and Chen Jinghong, are majors on Zhongping ship and Wuyi ship respectively in the Navy. They studied in the same class from primary school to military school, and used to serve for the same ship. The colleague usually greet the wrong one because they can't tell the twins apart.

According to Taiwan United Daily News reports, a pair of twin majors in Taiwan called Chen Jingmei and Chen Jinghong studied in the same class from primary school to military school, and used to serve for the same ship after graduation. They are now majors in different ships. But since they look alike so much, there are many interesting happenings in daily lives.

A detachment in Taiwan navy stopped at Keelung port on the 8th after finishing the voyage around the island. Chen Jinghong was so conspicuous with the white uniform. The older sister Chen Jingmei also came to meet her with their mother in her uniform. The sisters sent cards to their mother for mother's day.

Speaking of sending the twins to the army, the mother still feels reluctant. Thinking of the hard training, she had her eyes full of tears. Chen Jingmei and Chen Jinghong feel it good in the army though, with a stable position. "Although we just followed classmates to apply in the beginning, it came out that we were the only two who got recruited."

30-year-old Chen Jingmei and Chen Jinghong were in the same class in primary school and junior high school. They had only one score different in the exam for senior high school and got in the same class again. Chen Jingmei said that they had one score different too when applying for the military school. Their family didn't agree, but the executive encouraged, and they both joined in the army.

Many twins have telepathy. Chen Jinghong said that they were required to go to bed on time without chatting at the entrance training. She got punished to stand on the ground for having chat with classmates, only to find her sister Jingmei already standing there. The trainer said, "I am defeated by you twins!"
   
In 2001, they both worked on Yunyang ship, one as firearms officer, the other communication officer. If not careful enough, the leader usually criticized the wrong twin. Then one kept long hair, and the other short, hoping others to distinguish them well. Although they still do the hair like this now, they still get mistaken sometimes.

Chen Jingmei and Chen Jinghong said that they wouldn't deliberately require to work in different units because they had been together for so many years. They don't feel boring with each other at all.
   
Speaking of the benefits of twins, Chen Jinghong said that they can have double friendship. However, sometimes when colleagues greet the wrong twin, they may forget to greet in return, only to be taken as being impolite or rude. They feel quite innocent.
