Song Xiaoming introduced reporters to the family of the oldest twin in the village. Zhou Wenwu is father of twins Zhou Jun and Zhou Liang. The twins were born on the 24th day of the 3rd lunar month in 1981. They are married. "I don't know whether I can have twin grandsons." Zhou Wenwu smiled with happiness.
The probability of twins in Shatin village is much higher than the average. Can it be related to their food or environment? Mr Zhou said, "that's sheer coincidence like winning the lottery." Their diet habits and environment is not different from any other villages around.
Jinjing abounds with tea, and they local people drink the fresh green tea made with local mountain mineral water or well water. Some villagers think it one of the factors?

Experts say that external stimulation during ovulation period may lead to increase of ovulation numbers, and some microelements in water may provide the stimulation, causing twin birth rates to rise without affecting the fetal health. |
