Excellent Twin Singers Li Pingping & Li Tingting

Li Pingping and Li Tingting won the runner-up in the 'happy Capricorn twin' talent show of the sixth international twins' festival of the tropic of cancer in Mojiang China. In order to realize the dream of an excellent twin singing group, they kept singing towards music steadily. They liked performance since they were children. After the hard artistic drilling time and time again, they are quite skilled in singing the Spanish Lady and Song of Joy. Luckily, they are becoming more and more popular. Beautiful singing, elegant posture, lively expression made them step towards the podium in this twins' festival. They are conveying the inner sonorous voice with outstanding performance. That's the voice of steady mature with the company and support from their intimate mother. 

The twin sisters have benefited a lot from a series of competitions for the National Day, the Olympics, the Women's Day, the Sino-Russian Communication Meeting, the 4th Youth Singing Competition, the 1st Internet Spring Festival Gala (BTV), and so on. The rehearsing of the women soldiers at the comrade performing group for a long time has well established their unique image of a set of twin soldiers with bud-shaped hats. They even won the second prize in the Hebei Area of the 10th Novice Selecting Competition. At the age of ten, the twins auditioned documentary of children's literary group, posing with rifles, which Tingting cracked as interesting real guns. Another experience of thirty-year-old makeup for the advertisement of Missmay cosmetics made them quite awkward since they did not look like thirty years old despite the makeup. Aging 19 at present, the twins have attended big events like participating the theatrical commemorative performance on the Tiananmen Square for the 60th anniversary of New China, leading the singing of the 1000-people-chorus on the 100th anniversary commemorative performance for Women's Day. As junior students in university, the amateur ensemble Girls is their stage to display talents freely on weekends.

The rehearsal camp of the Happy Gemini talent competition for the China Mojiang International Twins' Festival, which was in a scenic spot called Forest Resort, was quite impressive to the twins. The camp was, and the training lasted for ten days there. During the ten-day- training, contestants kept being eliminated, which gave the twin sisters some pressure since three pairs of twins had been out before the stage show. Besides their own programs, the twins had to get trained for the opening, the catwalk, and the epilogue. They had some strange but fresh experiences here too: not used to mustard or bread, misunderstanding of the local dialect, awkward feeling of learning Dongfanghong singing or peacock dancing in short time, etc. Still. There were still lots of funny things like gaining some weight from the insect banquet full of worms which demands courage, making friends with other twins, the creepy but interesting fight with spiders in the bedroom.

The short communication during these days offered them some understanding about other twin contestants. Li Na and Li Ya are easy to distinguish since they are non-identical twins; one learns fold music, and the other western. Huang Min and Huang Jie, the good dancers, are most identical twins which are most difficult to identify. Mimi and Doudou look different since Mimi lost a front tooth. Young as they are, they don't fear hardship in the training. Tang Shunjie and Tang Yujie are better at painting rather than dancing. They look shy and alike, difficult to tell from each other. Tongxue and Tongmei are competent and had attended a lot of competitions, however, they still felt nervous the moment the civil judges came on stage to decide on their PK against Pingping and Tingting, who still hugged them with sincerity and tears when they failed. Li Xiling and Li Xijun, the nice local hosts, are said to resemble Chen Guanxi, which Pingping and Tingting agree a lot. They also guided other twins travelling Mojiang. They think they are not so alike unless taking photos together. Pingping and Tingting have the same feeling as their mother about this trip in Mojiang: It is time to leave when you just got adjusted.

Bring up Pingping and Tingting, their mother is so aware of the hardship. They have bee such a thoughtful and obedient help for their mother that they spent so much time full of rain as well as sunshine together. The sisters naughtily nicknamed their mother Huihui. Their success depends a lot on their mother's support. She even became an assistant putting herself away to carry the properties for the twins during the training. On Mother's Day, she got a jade pendant with her animal sign of zodiac from the twin sisters.

When asked about future plan, the mother leaves it to Pingping and Tingting to decide by themselves. And the twins both promised to keep singing together, not only to sing children's songs and classic songs like Pleasant Dreams for Nice People, but also to try on beautiful voice with bel canto, folk songs, pop songs, and so on.
