SS Band from Guangzhou Entered Top 40

The world's family talent show "Family Match" came to the ultimate showdown in Shanghai last night. Guangzhou Division played against Harbin Division Tournament. Twin sisters SS combination (photo above) from Guangzhou Division, "Jr. Lin Miaoke" Miao Qi family from Harbin Division, "Singing Queen" Ma Dongwei, and "Voice King" Liu Zan got promoted into the national top 40.

The top 6 from Guangzhou got eliminated except for SS. They will go to Shanghai for more fierce competition after the spring festival.

Last night the SS combination performed well on stage, but actually they had tears inside since their grandpa passed away. It happened to be their birthday that day. Their parents had intended to come to Shanghai to encourage them, but had to cancel it in the end. The sisters missed their family so much, but had to pretend to be happy on the stage.

"We have no time to celebrate, and we have to hurry back home tomorrow morning." They said like this when interviewed about the arrangements after victory.

SS thinks that their best advantage to win is the mutual understanding between twins. They even used to get the same score and same mistakes in math exams once."Different from other participants' rehearsal before contest, we have been singing and dancing together since childhood and cooperation is no big deal. We just pick up the program and improvise."

In the first match between Harbin and Guangzhou this week, the famous female basketball player Miao Lijie and her niece Miao Qi appeared with high popularity and got promoted into the final on Wednesday directly. Unexpectedly Miao Lijie announced to quit on Tuesday. People guess that it may be because of the pregnancy of Mrs. Yao, Ye Li. However, Miao Lijie explained last night with video that she quit because her intensive training didn't allow distraction and it had nothing to do with Mr. and Mrs. Yao Ming. Still, her niece Miao Qi was quite confident with her father and got promoted into national top 40 with their lively and dynamic program "My 72 Changes".

Laughter is always accompanied by tears. Last night the Johnson family, Li Kunyu's family, and Feng jie's family from Guangzhou all got eliminated.

"We can finally return to Guangzhou it!" Johnson family wasn't too depressed with tears when leaving the stage. Johnson told reporters that much as they want to win, they knew that they are the super family.
