Twins' Program Won Gold Medal

Recently, the fourth Baigou International Comedy Competition was held. The twin brothers Jianguo and Guoqing, so-called Twins' Chen Peisi, won the gold medal with their sketch Happiness for Internet, and got praised by famous comedy artists like Gong Hanlin and so on.

This competition was held by unities like China Civil Literature Association, China Culture Life Weekly, and Hebei TV. There were excellent creative works of comedy presented. Besides talking, imitating, teasing, singing, and loquacity. Art celebrities like Gong Hanlin, Pei Yanling, Zhang Dali and so on were invited too. The so-called Twins' Chen Peisi, twin brothers Jianguo and Guoqing won the gold medal with their sketch Happiness for Internet. Coiming back to the stage from movies, the twins got praise from celebrities like Gong Hanlin with their born humour and professional acting.

Coming from the rural area, the twins became famous by imitating the famous actor Chen Peisi with their appearance and passion for acting. The simple brothers planned for their acting career, and gradually improved their skills for acting with rich experience and study in Beijing Cinema College later. They came out with their comedy Family Searching about the new rural areas and the opera Immigrant Workers about their hard lives. The brothers were quite calm about their success in movies though, "Our inspiration and creation come from the rural lives. We are popular because our stories are close to their daily lives. We don't want to and will never give up movie acting, from which we got started." It is such persistence which made the brothers to prepare for the sketch Happiness for Internet well after being invited by the committee. "We hadn't expect it to win. Unexpectedly, it got so popular and we are so happy that it won the gold medal. Thank your for your support and fond. We will never leave the stage. Such a prize is also a confirm for our long effort. We will try more creations for the audience."
