Talent Competetion for Seven Twin Families

Yuzhong district reports: the Yuzhong area final competition of the draft selection for the patriotic and twins’ show of the second national city family art festival was held in solar and lunar square of Yuzhong district. The seven twins from seven families had drastic competition with their talents. Finally, Jiang Yiping’s family with the original singing for the song Hongmei Ode, and twin sisters with the dance Paper Cutting Girls got special awards, and would go to the national competition on behalf of Chongqing.

At 7:30 pm the day before yesterday, there were hundreds of citizens gathering on the solar and lunar square, and the seven participating family appeared on the stage one by one with seven pairs of twins. The final was started by the situation comedy Ode to the Red Flag by Cai Chaoyong’s family.

Among the participants, the handsome twin brothers Yang Bo and Yang Tao has been in the first family art twins’ festival six years ago. They competed with twins from all over the country on behalf of Chongqing. In this final, the 19-year-old brothers conquered the audience and judges with the song Paradise, and won the first prize.

The special prize winner of the family patriotic show Chen Zisheng and Jiang Ping’s family presented the musical play directed by themselves. Chen Zisheng acted the Red Crag hero Chen Ran who recited the poem My Confession passionately with fetters, while his wife Jiang Ping and daughter Chen Shanshan acting sister Jiang the heroine and her inmate, and singing the songs Ode to Hongmei and Embroidering the Red Flag to show the classic patriotic story of people in the Mountain City. The special prize for twins' talent show was awarded to Yu Bingxin and Yu Binxue, whose dance Paper Cutting Girls became the highlight of the competition.
