Ah Youduo to Perform for 3-year-old Twin Sisters

Twin sisters suffer from thalassaemia, and needs 500,000 Yuan for bone marrow transplantation.

“I hope to help sisters Song Jiaqi and Song Jiayin for a new life with the money to be raised in my performance.” Guizhou singer Ah Youduo announced yesterday that she would hold a large charity performance “Ah Youduo warming 2010” next month for a pair of twin sisters with thalassaemia from Zunyi County to raise money for their bone marrow transplantation.

Thalassaemia is a kind of genetic hemolytic anemia, and requires bone marrow transplantation to be cured. “Doctors say that if missing the best operation period of 3 to 4 years old, they will not survive. In order to gather the 500,000 Yuan, my wife and I have taken part-time manual works, and even used to be beggars. If only you can save them!” Song Yuanxiang, father of the twin sisters said with tears in the briefing that his wife had quitted job in order to take care of the twins, and he earns only about 1,000 Yuan per month. It will take him 20 years without any expense to get such 500,000 Yuan for the operation.

“I want to try my best to help them.” Ah Youduo says that she decides to raise money for the twins in her performance, and hopes people to save the lives for these two angels.
