“One pair, two pairs, three pairs…  Six pairs in all.” What are the neighbors counting?

Since the Community Civilization activity of Fuoshan daily got started, there have been many zealous neighbors and netizens sharing the anecdotes in their neighborhood or community. According to Miss Su at Wanxin community at Guicheng and netizen Jiuhongbinlan at Guangfuo urban net, there is a pair of twin teachers running a dance training centre in their community, attracting many young twins. Reporters set our immediately.

At about 8 p.m. the day before yesterday, reporters came to Wanke Jinyuhuafu residential quarter at Nanhai, to ask about the twin dancers from a passing neighbor, who was very friendly and led the way. “I watch them dancing every night. It’s so rare to see so many twins together.”

Following the guide, reporters saw a group of neighbors counting out of a glass wall. There was a pair of beauty teachers teaching five pairs of twin girls dancing. This class has become a specialty in the community, highlight for the neighbors.

Therefore, the Yangs require the twin students to wear bands or hairpins with different colors for the class, so that others don’t get confused. However, when the young twins dance, reporters still got confused as for whether they look too much alike or we just got dazzled?

It’s difficult to tell the twins apart by actions. Even the eyes look alike when they smile. “We also get confused sometimes.” A mother said, “We used to make jokes when having them bathed. One may get bathed twice, while the other none.”

Yang Min and Yang Jie come from Changde in Hunan Province, and they have been interested in dancing since childhood. After learning dancing in Hunan Art College, they both entered the art troupes of a Guangzhou military region. In 2003, they won first prize in the amateur talent competition of Guangzhou military area with the dance To the Bride, and got third-class merits at the age of 17.

Retiring from the army, the sisters came to Guicheng Wanxin community one after another. In the talent show among the residents of six buildings of Wanke company in Fuoshan city last year, their dance won the championship.

Famous in the community, the sisters are usually invited for charity performances. “We find that many children want to learn dancing, so we created such a training class in the community for children’s dance.”

“We used to see some twins’ party on TV, and it’s the first time I see six pairs of twins, and they appear in my neighborhood.” Mrs. Yang in Wanxin community said that she was so lucky to see the performance for free. “In future when there are more and more twins, they can have a twins’ talent show then.”

“We find the cultural atmosphere quite nice in Fuoshan here. The class has been started for less than half a year, but there have been lots of children applying for dancing.” Yang Min and Yang Jie have regarded themselves as Fuoshan citizens. “We hope to have more twins to dance all over Guangdong, the nation, and the world.”
