Daubing your face black with bless

As the main activity in the first Mojiang sun festival on April 10 2005, the passerby on the streets was attacked by hundreds of hands with black ash on it. Over one million Mojiang people gathered on the streets and no matter the ages, everyone was daubed by black ash with bless meaning.
 
Mojiang in the only autonomous county of the Hani ethnic minorities is China, Hani population is of 210,000.the local people worship the fire, and black ash as fire product is the symbol of lucky. Daubing people's face with black ash is an important activity in wedding ceremony.
 
Hani ethnic minorities is living in the highlands of Southwest China, because of frequent migration, some Hani people live in Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand (referred to as aka). Terrace culture is world-famous masterpiece of the Hani people.
Twins festival will be hold after Sun Festival; although it is Hani Autonomous County, also mixed with Han, Yi, Dai, Yao, Lahu and Hui etc.
