The theme of International Twins Day is the culture of Tropic of Cancer, twins, and Hani nationality. The first Twins Day lasted 3 days, which was from April 10 to 12, 2005, while the 2nd was from May, 1 to 3. The county is famous as the Hometown of Hani, the City of Tropic of Cancer because of it has held two festivals.
Now, more and more tourists in home and abroad are showing their interests to the rich culture of Mojiang.
In 2007, the local government decided to hold the two festival at the same time, which means the Twins Days and the Solar Festival will be hold on May 1 to 3. Holding the two festivals together can fully display the nature and the mystery of the city.
