The Sixth China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International twins' Festival and Hani

The press conference of the 6th China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International twins' Festival and Hani Solar Festival will be held in Kunming Bank Hotel at 3:00 p.m. on March 16, 2010. Du Xueyi, deputy secretary of Mojiang people's committee, county magistrate of Mojiang people's government will address the conference. He will mainly introduce that the government-sponsored 6th China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International twins' Festival and Hani Solar Festival will be held in Mojiang Hani Autonomous County in Yunnan Province from May 1 to 3 this year.

Mojiang has held five China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International twins' Festivals and Hani Solar Festivals successfully since 2005. The popularity and fame of Mojiang has thus well improved. This year, in order to further improve the cultural brand of "Hani county, tropic of cancer place, twins' home",the sixth China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International twins' Festival and Hani Solar Festival will be held on time.

This year, to further enhance the "town of Hani, return to the city, twin homes" cultural brand, Mojiang County will hold its sixth scheduled, "Mojiang China  international twins festival and the Tropic of Cancer Solar Festival Hani."

In order to improve the popularity, according to the theme of "Gemini Twin Stars Show, Happy Twin Tour", the organizers invited a new generation of super twin stars celebrity portfolio "REBORN" (Ma Jianqi and Ma Jianqin) as the ambassador of the current activities and series of relative activities to promote the popularity. There will thousands of twins of different countries and different skin colors for the celebration in Mojiang then. Besides the classic activities of the previous years, there will be a series of innovative activities for the festival. During the celebration from May 1 to 3, there will be activities like a major theme party, 1,000 pairs of twin parade, Hani blackening blessing, wedding on the tropic of cancer, twin series, twin draft and show, Hani cabaret, twin cultural exhibitions, etc. Compared with the previous, the current activities will be richer, more exciting, more innovative, more entertaining, and with more participation.  Activities like parade, water sports, Tropic of Cancer Park, Sun Plaza, Moon Plaza, China Mojiang International twin Cultural Park, Temple of ancient buildings will offer you a happy and romantic holiday in Mojiang.

In order to popularize the twins' brand, Mojiang County cooperates with Yunnan TV Station TV Channel to work on the elimination contest of "Happy Gemini" and recruits twins from all over China. The preparation started in January, the contest was officially launched on March 15, and it will last until May 3. It consists of three phases: heats, semi-finals and finals. The top ten players may have the opportunity to become next year's twin ambassador of twins' festival of Mojiang County. "Space Tourism" program of Yunnan TV will also choose one pair of twins from the top ten to be their special host.
