Talk Show Made in Yunnan about Twins’ Families

Yunnan China News Net reports in Mar. 15: A large-scale talk show about twins’ growing up and their family anecdotes hosted by famous CCTV anchorwoman He Jing will be played on Yunnan TV recently.

The hardships, the persistence, and the tips of bring up twins will be shared. So are the magic telepathy and different experiences between twins. How do the 4-person family pursue for their dreams after twin brothers marry twin sisters? How do twins support each other for dreams after all these hardships, poverty, and perseverance?  

Rare quadruplets and 11 pairs of twins with different ages and different family backgrounds like Brothers Liu Quanhe and Liu Quanli who are the only Chinese winners for Gold Clown, the international pantomime contest and Angels who were the image spokespersons for the 7th China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International Twins’ Festival and so on will all be invited to tell about their unique and moving growth experience, to talk about the ups and downs and the contemporary living conditions of twins and twins’ families in depth, and to discuss on twins’ topics like their raising, developing, and striving, so as to focus sincerely on this special group created by life miracles.

There are eight episodes altogether, and the recording has all been finished in Feb. in Beijing. They will be played on Yunnan TV in Friday evenings from Mar. 11. This will be an important part for the 7th China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International Twins’ Festival and Hani Solar Festival.

With the tropic of cancer cutting through the county, Mojiang is rich in glamorous Hani culture and typical of common magic binate phenomena. Among the 300,000 plus population, there are near 1,000 pairs of twins in this twins’ paradise filled with affection. There have been six Mojiang international twins’ festivals held here successfully since 2005. Every year, thousands of pairs of twins from all over the world meet here in May 1 and May 2. Besides the traditional celebrations, the county will also focus on some realistic twin issues and aiding policies like their raising, education, developing and so on this year, so as to make Mojiang a real twins’ home. What’s more, the 7th Mojiang international twins’ festival will be held in May 1 and May 2, and there will be some carnival events typical of Hani ethnic flavor like twins’ parade, charcoal rubbing, water games, etc.
