Mystic Wedding on the Tropic of Cancer Sending Hope of Love

The 7th China Mojiang Tropic of Cancer International Twins’ Festival and Ha’ni Solar Festival was held from May 1 to May 2. In order to attract more new couples to come to Mojiang for honey moon and for experiencing secret wedding on the tropic of cancer, Mojiang county tourism bureau held “Send Hope of Love”, a large-scale special group wedding during the festival.

In the moring of May 1, 36 couples from Mojiang, Simao, Kunming, and Tianjin held a group wedding typical of traditional Ha’ni ethnic style. They had the carnival parade and made pilgrimage to the twins’ well. Facing the mystic well, they made the holy and sacred love vow, drank water for promise, and sent hope of love. They also put heart-shaped locks and slept on the twins’ bed on the tropic of cancer where Yin meets with Yang. There were sincere blessing from the thousands of twins and tens of thousands of visitors, and they promise to love for a life time. The wedding was mystic and romantic, and the scene was splendid and full of happiness.

Known for the “romantic Ha’ni flavor, magic city of tropic of cancer, and charming twins”, Mojiang has attracted more and more new couples and newly wedding couples to come for wedding or honey moon by promoting the brand of “mystic wedding on the tropic of cancer”, and this action has enhanced the rapic development of Mojiang tourism, laiding solid foundation for Mojiang to become a new tour spot for wedding and honey moon.
