A 23-year-old pregnant woman Chen gave birth to boy triplets in Peace Hospital in Sizhilan county of Ningjin, and each of them came from different germ cells. It is reported that three eggs' triplets is of extremely low occurring probability, at the rate of about one in millionth. The reporter saw the three small boys lying in the incubator at the hospital neonatal intensive care unit. According to a pediatrician, the three children were premature infants with low birth weight; the gestational age was only 33 weeks.The oldest one weighed 1.58 kilograms, a little heavier than the second and the third, both of whom were weighed 1.55 kilograms respectively. They have passed through respiratory barrier since March 16, and there were still some problems as infection, feeding and jaundice, waiting for them to overcome. Nurses have started nasal feeding during the past two days, and all the three children were given 7 ml, 3 ml and 4 ml injections respectively every 2 hours. Judging from the current situation, with the exception of the oldest bit of anemia, they all have healthy cardio-pulmonary and very good brain development, and are expected get out of the incubator in 2-3 weeks.
