Teen Dies In ATV Crash; Twins Hurt

The twins, Kaylee and Kimberly Madison, were hospitalized at the University Medical Center in Jackson.

Husky said Lopez died in the emergency room at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg.

Sheriff Martin Pace said it appears all three were riding the four-wheeler near the Lopez home.

Pace said the four-wheeler ran into a barbed wire fence, knocked down several posts and rolled over several times before coming to rest next to a tree.

The twins' mother said Thursday that Kaylee is listed in good condition, and Kimberly's condition was given as fair.

"One of them is resting comfortably, and the other is still in ICU. We're just so devastated and trying to get through this. We want everyone to know that we appreciate everyone's prayers, love and support and concern. We are just praying and hoping for the best, and our hearts go out to the Lopez family on the loss of their daughter," said Selena Madison, mother.
