Chinese Twins Girls Leading Japanese Bands to Dance in the Expo

Although the essence of this "Heart of Japan" show was the traditional Japanese kimono, Shamisen, Shakuhachi flute and Taiko drum, the teen idols Sakura group also performed as the protagonists. "Sakura group", formed by five beautiful girls, are quite popular in Japan. The major ones are a pair of Chinese twin sisters though. There is a third one called Wang Panpan from Shanghai too. Their music and dancing put the show to the climax. The song Huaxin (flower heart) led the audience to sing together in the end.

It is reported that Yang Jing and Yang Ling were born in Changsha, Hunan Province, and graduated from the Communication University of China. They were chosen by the famous Japanese writer Nishiyama Yoshiyukiin in January 2009 and went to do performing in Japan. At present, they are core of the idol group Sakura and have shot many commercials.
   
Nishiyama Yoshiyukiin was born in Qingdao, Shandong and has have deep feelings for China. He has been devoting into the cultural exchanges between China and Japan. "The Expo is a great opportunity for Japanese-developing Chinese artists to perform in China. In this way, we can enhance the mutual understanding of people, especially the youth from both countries." Nishiyama said that he would look for more promising Chinese for training and developing in Japan.
