Huang Min and Huang Jie, Shape and Shadow

Having holiday in Mojiang Forest Resort, we met with Huang Min and Huang Jie, participants of the "Happy Gemini" talent show for the 6th Twins' Festival. They were practicing drinking dice with the guidance of the training teachers. Compared with the cheerful chatting and laughing all over the room, they seem isolated. The older sister Huang Min smiled and said. "It's too hard, and we miss our parents."

Huang Min and Huang Jie got registration for the sixth Mojiang twins' festival through internet. They come from Zhaotong, Yunnan, and study folk dance in the Attached High School of Yunnan Art Institute. Together with other twin participants, they arrived at Mojiang on the 19th for the training.  In addition to publicity shooting of twins' festival, they spend the rest time in the resort. Everyday, they start at eight o'clock and spend six and a half hours on the training, practicing toast singing and Hani dancing. They learned dance and perform very well in the training.

"Next year we should participate in the college entrance examination, and we have very intense homework." Huang Min, the older sister gets worried speaking of their academic study. However, they have very clear objectives, and being admitted to three schools like Beijing Film schools is their ambition.  They are sensible and they know that their parents have made great effort for their growth, especially for this competition. So they would work hard to try their best whatever the outcome.
      
Speaking of Huang Jie, her older sister said that she is a sensitive and highly personalized child with quiet exterior. In their daily lives, stumbling is inevitable and they bicker occasionally. But after the emotional outbreak, she still loves her sister. She whispered, "See her sad makes me sadder, and I am happy only if she is happy."

It is happiness to have one person accompanying us to grown up together, sharing life's joy and sorrow, and experiencing life's storm hand in hand. However, Huang Min, the intelligent older sister do not do like that. She seldom tells her sister about her worry, fearing the tear lover get upset too. Twins have linked hearts. Once Huang Min got a sore throat and Huang Min happened to have the same feeling too.

In daily lives, the sisters do not like the surprise look and discussion of people. The repeated answer "who is the older, and who is the younger sister" makes them annoyed too. They want to be a pair of ordinary sisters to work together and to achieve the goal together. Now, the sisters study in the same class, but they hardly wear the same dresses. They have the same clothes and same hair bundle only because of the twins'  festival this time.

In the next four-day training, the sisters will continue the training to meet the May Day as their own holiday.
