Charm of Mojiang:

1. north return City, binary star City, millions swallow city, a city of gold, Hani village, town of purple rice, Lac area, home of twins ... so much reputation just for Mojiang.

2. Mojiang annual International twins Festival and Sun Festival are the biggest local festivals. Hundreds of pairs of twins from the world gathered here for the twin carnival, what cheerful scene it is?

3. Because of north cancer phenomenon, when sun shine here straightly, it is from this moment onwards, the northern hemisphere enters into the summer.

4. This is the only place that Tropic of Cancer passing through has oasis.

Tropic of Cancer Landmark Park in Mojiang:

it is located in east longitude 101o41'00 " and north latitude 23o26'03" 61. It is tourism attractions include the knowledge of astronomy, geography, climate, plants and garden art scientific. 

The whole scenic area has eight view spots from: the door to north cancer, sun road, KuaFu Chasing the Sun, stone henge, beyond, four seasons, the ancient sundial, and main landmark. Vivid images were created by road, building sketch, sculpture and the main logo. It is as an expression of nature, life, and the understanding of the sun. It introduced the human exploration of celestial from ancient time to modern civilization as well as scientific knowledge to visitors. And also provides visitors an elegant spot. Especially on the solstice (June 21 or 22 days), the sun will shine on the city vertically, a magnificent view.

Mojiang Confucian Temple:

it was built on Daoguang the first year (AD 1821), is the grandest ancient buildings in Mojiang, and located on the hillside in the northeast county. It consists the main door, Pan Lake, new building, Wujing building, Chongwenmen pavilion, Kuixing pavilion, Lingxing Gate, Xingsu Gate,Xiangxian Temple, Minghuan Temple, east and west wing, Tianzitai, Dacheng Hall, Hou Hall and other buildings. The building style consists of Chinese two ancient styles. The whole magnificent building have sophisticated layout and is a Historical and Cultural Site under Provincial Protection in Yunnan Province.

Mojiang Puyi Park:

Founded in 1933 and located at the south entrance gate of the county .it consists of ancient architecture Puyishe and a small garden. It has elegant design and unique style, with flowers and birds throughout the year. It is so called as the "small Cuihu in Mojiang". Couplets that created by famous writers hanging on the Park poles in Chinese or Hani text, which is very interesting.

Mojiang solar square:

Mojiang solar square was built in 2003 and located in central area of New Mojiang county. It is a symbol of Mojiang city. Square covers an area of 27 acres. the square have relief sculpture, horizon sundial, human body sun clock, four emblematic symbols  and Twenty-eight mansions, Zodiac, The Equatorial Sundial, shadow-less hands ;it reflects the spirits of forging ahead in unity and entrepreneurial, and also the worship of the sun.. You can use sunlight directly to measure the time, the season and the direction!

Mojiang Longquan pearl:

there is a crystal clear spring lake surrounded by towering trees in Sangtian village of the south of the county. The water is rolling from the bottom of the lake and like strings of pearls; the fishes playing around. Poetry said: "spring rolling like pearls, the water too clear to see it clearly; mussels confused by it, and cute girls get water using bottle."

Food in Mojiang:

North landmark Park can provide recreation and dining. There is a well known barbecue place in Shuanglong village. You can taste purple rice, Macui, black-bone silky fowl, wild vegetables, wild mushroom, bamboo shoots and other flavors.

Accommodation in Mojiang:

A total of 11 Hotels in Mojiang. Normal double price is 50 or 120 Yuan, the other rooms' price are range from 30-380 Yuan. In addition, there are 123 vary size of hostel in the county, and the price range from 10-40 Yuan.

Mojiang traffic:

Kunman highways and Chujiang roads has intersection in the County. The county town is 273 kilometers away from the provincial capital of Kunming and 152 kilometers from Pu'er Cuiyun area, known as "Sipu portal". 20 Yuan/taxi.
