Jiang Wenwen and Jiang Tingting, the twin Chinese water ballet dancers, won two gold medals in the pair and team events at the 2006 Doha Asian Games. The twin sisters defeated the Japanese dancers and finally broke the Japanese winning streak in the water ballet pairs. Since water ballet became an official Olympic event at the 1994 Hiroshima Asian Games, the Japanese have consistently won gold medals. But 12 years later in Doha, the twin sisters stunned everyone and won applause and cheers by their wonderful performance of "Goddess of Winds". They won the gold with a winning score of 97.000. Winning was not easy for these two girls. These sisters have a special health condition in which they get sick more often than regular people. Although they were ill during the competiton in Doha; one had a stomach problem and the other caught a cold, they still performed their best and won the gold. It is unlikely the audience knows how much sweat and hardship went into their win.
