Williams twins something to see

"That was just crazy," Haworth said. "He tipped it in with his left hand," after it bounced from his right hand -- all at eight feet in the air.

But James was no second-fiddle to Anthony.

In addition to his three assists in the third, James showed that he is the field general. His smothering defense is the No. 1 cause of opponents' claustrophobia.

And when you key defensively on Anthony, then James burns you.

Shortly before the third quarter ended, James drove right, but got cut off. He worked the ball back out and spun on a dime, left two defenders flat-footed and finger-rolled an easy layup.

"I think the thing that makes them so special is they are great teammates," Haworth said. "They push the other players in practice and on the court everything is about W's and that's what I appreciate the most about as a coach."

Being a three-year varsity starter has tons of intangibles, including learning early on what it takes to win and lead.

"Those kids learned, when they were sophomores playing with Jeremy Sain and Shane Zink and Jacob Gray, how to be the leaders," Haworth said. "You can see them passing that on."

And when they're off playing basketball, football or track somewhere, the James and Anthony lore will live on. And you can say you saw them play, reeling off all the amazing feats.

"We're seeing things that we haven't seen," Haworth said. "We've not seen two kids play like this since I've been here in 27 years."
