Competing for the same school
In such situation, the brothers had never complained to their parents and they studied hard. From kindergarten, the brothers had been in the same class and almost take turns to get the first academically in the grade. In junior school entrance exam, Duowen got 185 scores and Duo wu 183.
In junior school, the brothers were still competing and encouraging each other. They could be found in competitions from the county level to even nationally level.
Once Tong Qunying went for a sports meeting at school for the two brothers. Defeated by his brother in the 100-meter race, Duowen cried on the ground and didn't stop until his mother hurried to console: "You are named Duowen, and your brother Duowu, so he is better than you in sports."
After junior school, Duowen got into No. 1 Xinzhou senior school with 624 points and Duowu, who hadn't play well, went into No. 3 Luoyang senior school. "The moment he got the results, the teacher came to our home and said that Duowen got the first at school. Duowu was there and he seemed to be a little upset. In senior school, the brothers came home on weekends. Duowen told me that Duowu usually read at night with torchlight and studied harder than ever. " Tong Qunying said.
In the university entrance exam, Duowen got 633 and Duowu 629, both were admitted to Beijing University of aeronautics, majoring in physics and power engineering respectively. Their dormitories were one building away. Duowen has been working in Beijing Huawei institute and Duowu has become maintenance personnel in China Eastern Airline.
For such different choices, the brothers said that their parents used to tell them that Beijing is the capital city and Wuhan is hometown and hoped them to be in Beijing and Wuhan respectively. They followed the parents' wishes, and stayed in these two cities respectively.
Both fall in love with senior high school classmates
Besides successful career, the two brothers also got their happiness.
In high school, Duowen usually discussed study with his classmate Qiu Jing and fell in love with her as time goes by. In college, he expressed his love for Qiu Jing, who studied in a university in Wuhan and they became lovers. Also, Duowu successful fall in love with his former high school classmate Fang Dun after graduation from university.
Before the Spring Festival this year, Duowu came back home with Fang Dun and said they decided to get married after the festival. Two days later, Duowu also called from Beijing and said he wanted to marry Qiu Jing after the festival.
This coincidence made the whole family happy and the brothers agreed to have the wedding together.
Qiu Jing told reporters that she chose Duowen because she felt his filial piety. She said that it doesn't matter how much money one has. Family harmony and love is more important. Fang Dun also said that Duowu is the one to be trusted for a life time since he respects his parents and elders.
At the wedding, the happy brothers agreed to try to have a pair of twins respectively.
